HOT FLASHES AND COOL CONVERSATIONS FOUNDATION
"Empowering Women, Embracing Change, Elevating Conversations."

What We Do
At Hot Flashes & Cool Conversations (HFCC), we create spaces, tools, and conversations that help women navigate menopause with clarity, dignity, and community.
We exist because too many women, especially Black women, are moving through this season confused, unsupported, or dismissed.
HFCC bridges the gap between lived experience, education, and real-world support so women don’t have to figure it out alone.

Our Approach
We lead with:
-
Lived experience
We don’t tell women what they should feel.
We create space for what they are feeling.
-
Cultural relevance
-
Compassion
-
Practical support
-
Unfiltered conversation
We Educate

We provide culturally relevant, accessible menopause education that helps women understand what’s happening in their bodies—without shame, fear, or medical jargon overload. Through workshops, digital resources, conversations, and media platforms, we: Normalize menopause and perimenopause Share symptom awareness and management strategies Equip women with language to advocate for themselves Center real stories and real experiences Education is empowerment—and understanding is the first step toward relief.
We Build Community

Menopause can feel isolating—but it shouldn’t be. We cultivate safe, affirming spaces where women can: Share their experiences without judgment Learn from one another Feel seen, validated, and supported Whether through live events, intimate conversations, or digital platforms, HFCC prioritizes connection over silence and community over isolation.
We Advocate for Better Conversations

HFCC challenges the systems, narratives, and cultural norms that have kept menopause in the shadows. We advocate for: Honest, open dialogue Workplace awareness and support Better representation of midlife women Care that listens, respects, and believes women Menopause isn’t a personal failure—it’s a life transition. And it deserves to be treated that way.
Live Events &
Experiences

This is where HFCC comes to life. We design and host immersive, culturally grounded experiences that create space for real conversation, shared learning, and collective healing. Our live events are intentionally curated to feel welcoming, affirming, and honest—never clinical or performative. Through panels, fireside chats, workshops, and community gatherings, we: * Create safe spaces for unfiltered dialogue * Center lived experience alongside expert insight * Encourage connection, laughter, reflection, and release * Meet women exactly where they are in their journey HFCC events aren’t just informative—they’re transformational. Women don’t leave feeling “fixed.” They leave feeling seen, understood, and less alone.
Information is powerful, but practical tools make it usable. HFCC designs downloadable trackers, planners, and reflection tools that help women: * Track symptoms and patterns over time * Prepare for healthcare appointments * Support mental, emotional, and physical well-being * Stay connected to their bodies and needs These tools meet women where they are—busy, evolving, and deserving of support that fits into real life.
